Standing on the 12th tee with a target green some 300 yards away, the challenge may appear to be minimal but 4 bunkers are hidden from view right in the middle of the fairway. There are, therefore, three choices; play extreme left or right of the fairway, or drive over all of them. This always feels like it should be a birdie hole but the narrow table-top green, bunkers and other imponderables may add further frustration as you march to the 13th tee!!
